It is pretty cool, but we all know the government pressured them into making the live feed with the intent of outraging the people. It will definitely help environmentalists get some stuff passed.

I know this was BP's fault entirely, but they really should not punish other oil companies for it.

Ummm...

BP is ridiculous, and seems not to give a damn what they do. IIRC, the same type of bs caused about a dozen of their workers to be killed in an explosion about 5 years ago. They were told the emergeny shutoff was malfunctioning months ago, and they just said to ignore it and keep on going. If they had done the proper thing and stopped all work until it was fixed, none of this would have happened.

Then there is whoever was leading the project that followed The orders to keep going. They are just as much at fault.
