This is interesting though. Mac OS is BSD based, thus it should be possible to recompile the program to be linux-native. Can't wait!

Steam finally came out for Mac. Now I can finally delete that Windows partition.

I'm not sure if they will support all the games though...

I'm sure Valve, ID, maybe some of Epics older stuff, among other things should find their way to Mac and Linux.

Steam being on these two platforms will really open the PC gaming market in a healthy way I think.
Pretty much all ID software is already on Mac OS X and Linux. They use OpenGl. The game paks are portable. I'd be surprised if they had something that didn't already support *nix.
