Agreed. Every box I get from them looks like an accordion. And do not even try ordering lcd's through ups, they will put it on the side and stack crap on top until the box collapses and the lcd gets smashed.

What is your monitor budget? I could have a look for you.

I get all of my stuff through UPS, and it's always in great shape. I guess it depends where you live?

Anyhow, that Asus is an excellent monitor, I have the 21.5" brother of it. The only thing (and I actually think they fixed this) is that the sound fades in every time the sound stops and it starts again. So small noises aren't audible. This is only when using HDMI though, so I don't care.

I too have an asus monitor. Beautiful picture, and the response rates are not bad.

OP: would you prefer a larger monitor if possible? I think I know of a 25 inch that should be below $250.

yeah id like a 25 inch or even more but where i have to put it ill only be able to get a 23 inch at the most. im havin to put it on a desk that has a back board and it has sides all around it. The cubby hole is 27" wide and 22" high and from the back board to the edge of the desk is 19".

Monitors are measured diagonally. For example, my 28 inch monitors are only 26 inches wide.

I recall seeing a vizio 26" monitor fairly cheap as well, so I am gonna try and find that now.

yeah their all good looking monitors might try to go with the 25 inch, because i have a marker board mounted on the back board and i need to see it too.
