Motherboard gone?

I've a biostar motherboard that stopped working.
Once I turn it on is does a strange sound in the powersupply and doesn't turn on.
Put new power supply does the same thing.
Once I take out the 4 pin wire that goes on the mobo, it turn on, put it back it turns off the computer.
What do you guys think is the problem?

Yea i'd go with a faulty motherboard.

Could be a blown capacitor. Can you post any pic's of the caps near the CPU on the motherboard?

If you're motherboard is still in warranty, then go and replace it, i was having the same problem before and now i have fixed by giving it to the company to get it replaced

Today I went and take the cpu out of the mobo, and it turned on with the 4 conector pin.
I have changed the cpu to another one, and it does the same thing with the4 conector pin on

I already told you its Motherboard , go and replace it
