Dual Core, Bad -A$$ Look, made of Parts from 6 computers, one overkill $170 extension of a $100 HP, Budget Cut dead video card. One that just barely gets the job done long enough to get a laptop...

now here is where it gets interesting...

The 18 available pci express rails will be split into ten x1 slots. Each slot will contain a g92 based card that i intend to buy over a fairly long period of time. The pci slots will each eventually contain a 9500 gt.

Twelve GPUs in all, assuming all cards are single gpu, thriteen if the IGP counts.

I believe that is a record for a standard desktop board.

Go with the Phenom II 555 or the new 560, you can unlock it to a quad core on some mobo's.

And, The ECS a790GX doesn't have diddle squat in terms of "18" PCIE ports :

After researching, I have came up with super duper overkill, AMD style:

Quad AMD Opteron 6136(higher stock clock) OC'd to 3.8 - 4.2Ghz 3gbs side cache ( like you can find on old Power macs, the stick of 128k of ram by the cpu)

32Gb DDR3 Mushkin Enhanced2500 OC'd(if its possible to go any faster ) to 3200-3900mhz

quad - hex ASUS ARES HD 5870x2 Eyefinity 6 Edition 4gb @ PCIE 3.0 16x @ CrossfireX

Mobo that can handle this with Crossfire AMD 890FX Northbridges

2x 8TB Crucial PCIE 16x SSD w/ 4gb DDR3 4200mhz Oc'd(if thats possible XD) Cache, rendering up to 3.5gbs, in Raid 0
