Is it safe to open a DVD/CD Drive?

Okay so I opened it because I thought it was like in a case for the computer, but it wasn't.

Also my computer beeped, could that be due to the ram I took out of it?

it should be ok unless you touched the eye or lense, then the lense needs cleaning but if you didnt touch it it will be fine. But if you dont feel good about it they do make a cd that cleans the lense.

Thanks and I screwed back in a screw like tilted to connect the Power Supply. D: Should I be worried?

Not at all, the worst thing to happen is that the CD Rom makes a popping sound, and shuts off... - and thats with some diliberate bomb wiring...
