is this more a cpu or gpu thing ?

It started out as a CPU thing but the F@H crew developed GPU folding code after realising the power in GPU's.

I fold using both the CPU and GPU clients. I've seen more points being earned by GPU folding but running the CPU client as well still earns you points and if you have a decent CPU anyways it shouldn't stop you doing what you want while it its running.
