4.6L vs 5.4L

The best way to save gas is to either not drive or take the lead weights off your foot.

If you slow done further back by just taking your foot off the gas and cruising, so no brake or gas, it will save you some gas.

Exactly. So why spend money on things you don't need?

every little bit counts when your trying to save gas money when you'll own something that has a hungry 5.4L V8 connected to a extra cab truck for a daily driver for a few years lol.

Removing the Cats will net you some gas mileage, but it's also highly illegal for vehicles 96 and up. Best thing to do is remove rolling mass.

so im guessing adding nice big ol' winter tires wolnt help much? haha.

got a site to get parts from?
like maybe a carbon fiber drive shaft or something?

Removing the catalytic converters for any year is highly illegal. OBDII just makes it harder to get away with it since everything is computerized.

The best way to gain mileage and performance is to lose dead weight. Interior trim, seats, headliners etc. I would say the spare, but it would be a dumb idea if you're daily driving the car.
