Vista Crash

Alright, so, Windows Vista Home Premium [64-bit] finally crashed on me.

A few days ago, an account on a video game I like to play got hacked. Last night, I downloaded Zone Alarm Extreme Security last night to get rid of anything, just in case. I had already ran some anti-virus/malware, but, I wanted something higher tech.

It had me restart my computer. After it all loaded back up, it told me I needed to uninstall AVG.

Then, I got a weird static on my screen for a split second, then a BSOD stating that a 'Physical Memory Dump' was occurring. My PC then crashed.

I am now unable to boot into Ubuntu or Windows Vista, safe mode or regular mode. The system just hangs in place. In safe mode, none of the Windows files loads. I have the Windows Vista OEM disc but it won't launch upon PC restart for some reason. What is the problem? Has my HDD crashed? Is it my RAM [assumption based on the "physical memory dump"]. I'm in class right now, so, I'll provide tech specs later for my PC, if necessary.

Thanks,

Use another machine to download Memtest86+.

You might as well check the RAM now while you can't get into your OS's. If it passes then move on to something else.
