Gallery: Cases

Dust would be the largest enemy. And a larger risk for ESD. I suggest at least putting the case on casters/large plastic feet. Or, on wood shelves, or 2x4's.

Yeah, if you have carpet it tends to be dustier on the floor. That's pretty much the reason why I put my computer on my desk.

im sure ive got some old shelving or something useful around here somewhere. ill give it a go under the desk, but it would be pretty easy to make this desk bigger (or buy a bigger one...) so that can be an easy plan b.

also, i got an email from the place i bought my case from today...and it find it quite amusing how poor 'royal mail' seems to have become

"We use a variety of couriers to deliver our items so please check the original
Ebay listing to see what service you paid for. If you selected Parcelforce
24 then expect the parcel next day. If you selected other courier then expect
delivery in 2 to 3 working days. Finally if you selected Royal Mail then
expect delivery within 5 working days."

lol.

Well, just keep in mind that even with shelving or boards, your computer will still get quite a lot of dust. Just remember to bring it out back to blast out the dust with compressed air once in a while.

Mine hardly gets any dust now that I moved it on my desk. When it was on the carpet the dust was so bad. I probably killed my X1900 XT because of all the dust.
