New computer, need help.

Hey guys I'm building a computer for a friend, and I need to know what parts to get.
He will be gaming, a lot. Crysis GTA COD etc.
His budget is $1500 for EVERYTHING besides monitor. He needs tower, all parts, keyboard, mouse, OS and basically everything besides the monitor. He has a separate budget for that. (Only one monitor I believe)
He is not a fanboy, so pick whatever companies you feel necessary
He won't be doing too much editing so no need for massive amounts of RAM.
Thanks for all you do guys to help me, and tell me what I need.
He will be using Newegg.
