which hard drive external is the best that i can buy with 500gb size for my backup my laptop?


before i have Seagate Expansion External Drives 500gb which is no good after 1 month because the connection on the hard drive became loose and it made it disconnection in the middle of the backup...

Doubt thats the reason why it is bad. The HDD is probabaly still good externals have a bad habit of developing power problems. The actual HDD is probably fine just yank it out of the external case and pop it into a PC. however the capability of external storage probably is bad.

As for which product in your question.... I will always choose WD over Seagate. IMHO WD is a better company
