Just installed my corsair H50 hydro cooler

so far i LOVE it. it cools nicely, sure not as good as a high end water setup but its an improvement over my thermaltake spinq! what i love most about it is that i can now replace or add ram without a big honkin cpu cooler in the way.

Now theres only one question. Anyone want to buy my spinq?

not too good yet. i think it may have something to do with this tiny smilodon case. so far lowest ive seen is 38. highest 50

i think it may be time to upgrade to a coolermaster HAF 932 case.

oh boy here we go. lmao. everyone immediately blames the paste. im using Arctic silver 5. i know it sucks, but its all i had (sarcasm)


and YES i cleaned the CPU and the new heatsink before i applied the new paste.

the nice thing about this is that it plateaus lower than my spinq. which is nice. plus i just love how clean it looks now. that alone was worth it. easy access to RAM is priceless.

and i hope you cleaned your CPU and your block with alcohol and something that doesn't give off debris

Stick a 120x38mm fan+controller on it.

The H50's are nice in the aspect that they clear up a lot of room around the CPU area. Performance is up there with high-end air.
