I am in dire need of a new motherboard on my gaming desktop, I also figured that instead of just getting a replacement, why not upgrade my rig too?

Here's what I've got so far:

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130265

Processor/CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103674

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319

Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184

Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102859

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148040

Case (if anyone cares): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146060

Keyboard/Mouse: Razer Lycosa and Logitech G9

Not all of this would be purchased at once. The video card is an eventually thing since I just got a new 9400gt and I don't feel like insulting the gift giver. I also already own the keyboard, mouse, and the memory.

The total for everything before rebates is: $614.94 ($534.95 without the case)

If anyone can double check and make sure everything will work together, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't fully know everything that needs to match and what not :p

I don't know much but I would recommend a less Wattage PSU just because I would figure you don't need 700W if your not doing crossfire or SLI, even then they say 550W is enough, therefore you could save a few bucks there. Everything else looks legit and I'm buying that CPU this week so I like that choice there. You say you own the RAM already? if so that sucks a little because it's DDR2 and I would suppose you want DDR3. Let the pros help you though I'm just a noob.

What exactly is the difference between DDR2 and 3? Speed or something?

Alright, I'll go with that PSU, thanks Vinman.
