Many of you might have heard that Bungie (edit- Microsoft!) shutdown Halo 2 online (xbox) on April 15. Apparently, they can't "officially" and "completely" shut down the servers until every player logs out. Knowing this, a few die-hard players have refused to log out (you can't log back in once you've logged off) and continue playing until there is a "last man standing" so to speak.

Here's a live feed of one of those remaining soldiers http://www.justin.tv/fraggedears#r=bFea9q4~

Either they are going to get kicked or there xbox's will RROD On them :D

Interestingly enough just as many people have expressed interest in the fact that these people's xbox's have been crash free after running for nearly 5 days straight as those who are interested in the Halo 2 marathon.

It just might come down to whose systems decide to self-destruct first.

Microsoft is ridiculous. Why are they dropping support for the xbox games that the 360 can emulate? I think that these should at least be supported along with the 360 games.

That's hilarious. Hahah, why can't Microsoft just perma-shut it down? They have no control over their own servers?
