thinking about building a media server

im thinking about building a media server. what do you guys think. this is what i was going to use.

MSI G31TM-P21 mobo
Intel Pentium E5300 dual-core processor
4g ddr2 ram
and 4 sata 1tb hardrives
and freenas for the os

what you guys think
anyone ever used freenas?

Sounds very good. Do you plan on doing RAID? One thing of note would be the lack of gigabit ethernet on that motherboard.

well im still new to the whole pc thing not really sure how to set up the whole raid thing, and not rly worried about the gig Ethernet thing just be for around the house file share and movie stream

has anyone ever used freenas?
