My HD 4830 just shipped out.

That reminds me...

I gotta upgrade my GPU. It's struggling to drive both high(ish) res monitors. Playing PKR was a bit beefy.

I figured I'd go ahead an share with you all. Yes, FootHead, benchmarks are soon to follow. I'll do a test on my TV upstairs, too...since the card came with a miniHDMI to HDMI adapter cable. But no SPDIF audio loop cable :|. So the purpose of HDMI and DVI-D are defeated :|

Unpacking, came with a nice looking T-shirt, a bumper sticker (saying GeForce 400 GPU's/EVGA), A nice EVGA case badge (not like the stickers they used to send), some power dongles, the HDMI converter cable, and DVI to VGA adapter. There might be some loop cables but I haven't looked.

Nexr week. It hit ~75C with the fan at 55% under auto. So I think it needs a WB.

You need to figure out a way to BIOS mod that thing. nVIDIA didn't laser cut the shaders.
