Can I connect two computer monitors, but each use a different video card?

I got a new video card and my old one (which is built in the motherboard) is still there and I wanted to see if I could connect my old monitor to my old VGA output that my monitor used to be connected to, thanks! :D

Ummm... you will have to find the setting in the BIOS to leave it enabled, then you install the new one, boot into your OS, install drivers for the new one, and then enable both in the Windows display driver.

Not dual monitors, you need to leave the onboard GPU enabled.

Linux should work the same way though, edit xorg.conf to allow you to use your monitor.

Some motherboards give you no choice but to disable the IGP when you have a second card plugged in...
