now that the prescott and amd xp have been gone for almost 3-4years my core 2 quad and am2 do not heat the house

lol just put your AM2 at 1.5V and 3.8Ghz with a V8 an u'll get a nice space heater lol.
Especially if you run f@H all the time like i do.

I keep telling you man, buy a new board. X38 or P45. Both will run your current DDR2, so it will only be a board upgrade. Just make sure they support 45nm Yorkfields. My 680i took 45nm Wolfdales ONLY.
