Yes. you will need to mix them together. You can squeeze equal amounts of each onto a sheet of foil and mix them together using the included stick. You then place a very small amount on the center of the chip and then press the heatsink down to the of the chip. It will take a few hours to set hard.

Lol, the directions made it seem complicated. Thanks! I get confused on how to apply thermal paste/adhesive/grease. People say to spread it evenly then place the heatsink on top, but some people say to place a dot or line and place the heatsink on top. What's the best option and why?

With thermal paste, I have always spread a thin layer across the surface of the CPU. It really boils down to personal preference, as both methods work well. With the adhesive, you might just want to place a small amount in the center of the chip and press the heatsink down on top of it to avoid putting too much on.
