Help Picking Monitor

I guess, I'd just like to think that owners would have some credibility.

I don't think ghosting is really a problem with modern LCD's though.

It's a pretty major problem on my ASUS LCD (8ms) and my parents Dell (also 8ms)

Like I said, some people can see it, others can't.

You also have to consider how honest manufacturers are with their ratings.

Edit: If he's gaming, he's probably better off with a TN panel though. Right now that's the closest you'll get to a CRT if you're talking input lag and response times.

In defense of the monitor though, it said that it was 15ms WTG. I do not know what that means, but I do know that GTG is a smaller response times than BTB, which is what most things are measured in. So WTG may take longer for every monitor, I don't know though.

WTG=White to gray
GTG=Gray to gray

Most companies measure in GTG because it yields the lowest numbers.

I know, that's why I try to avoid monitors that only advertise the GTG numbers. I'm unsure about how WTG measures though.

Same. I've heard of black-to-white-to-black, but the numbers would be so high that nobody would ever consider buying it.
