Wtf Apple?!?!

I was just playing Brickbreaker on my iPhone and noticed some glitchy textures. Fired up Assassin's Creed, and it is confirmed, My iPhone is artifacting!!! Restoring to OS 3.0 didn't work, neither did a full format to the latest OS. Has this happened to anybody ever? The thing got warm sometimes, but to have an artifacting GPU, something is very wrong. It works fine in 2D. What should I do?

Never jailbroken, and I have no warranty.

I do have a spare iPhone mainboard laying around somewhere, so it looks like that will be going in this phone as soon as I find it.
