hard drive qustion

I was wondering if I would be able to reformat my recovery hard drive on my computer.

You mean your recovery partition? Yes you can format it, but you will lose everything on the partition and you won't be able to restore your computer back to factory specs.

I do not advise this unless you have a retail version of windows that you can use to reformat your computer if you ever have to.

Yeah thats what I ment. I want to install windows 7 on my computer. so can I leave the recovery partition on there, and install 7 on the other partition

Yes you can install Windows 7 on the primary partition and leave the recovery partition as it is in case you want to restore your pc back to factory specs.
