MP3 Player suggestions

Don't care for apps.
Anyways, so now there's about a 80% chance I will be getting the Samsung YP-P3. However, I don't know which color to get. The silver one is $140, while the black one is $148. I guess the black one must be more popular than the silver one.

Before everyone comes in saying 'iPod!!!!111!one!!11' I am gonna say to avoid them.

I have two and an iPhone, and they all have pretty awful sound quality.

Interesting, but I am using apple lossless format and 300+ kbps vinyl rips and they still sound pretty awful.

It sounds ok if you use the iPod dock, but the built-in 3.5mm jack sounds awful. It still isn't great no matter what I do.

That's your problem. Why are you using an iPod as a source?

LOL, I usually am not, but I did to make sure it was the iPod that sounded bad, not my stereo.

To get back on topic, Teny, have you considered buying a new MP3 phone? It might be worth it over spending almost $200 on an MP3 player.

I already have a MP3 phone. It's an cheap $100 one though (no contract). I only have it for a few months, and don't really want to change phones.

I doubt that. The iPod is a pretty decent when it comes to sound quality.
