US Xbox360 Games in Australian Xbox?

I'm about to order some cheap xbox360 games from the US but they are in NTSC. My xbox is hooked up to my PC Monitor via HDMI. NTSC Games should work fine right?

but it doesn't depend on your xbox, it depends on the game.

Ok so the two games im looking at is Bad company 2 and it say's no under the PAL Box but my monitor can display NTSC Games no problem,does this mean i should be able to use it ok? The second is Modern Warfare 2 and that just ticks all of the boxes....

u cant play that.

the game develeper has to put the PAL codes in the game,

EVEN if your monitor can play it, DOSNT mean that your 360 can read it.

Yeah, it doesn't matter what display you hooked up to. Consoles are usually region locked, which is why imports don't work unless the devs made their games region free.
Though, I think most PS3 games are region free, but the movies are not.

Yeah, PS3 games are region free.

Blu-ray movies are locked.
