Adding a aftermarket CPU HSF allows you to OC better right?
Is it because the CPU runs cooler or what?

Simplified version:

More voltage/higher frequency (though I don't think frequency has as much to do with it as voltage) = more heat. The better your HSF dissipates the heat, the more you can OC. At some point though, you hit a "wall"..either with heat, or with voltage/frequency.

It depends on how far you push it. Plenty of people run 24/7 overclocks including myself.

ahh ok, i might use that amd overdrive program and have a go of the auto-tune, just to see what it can do

You guys know how when you are cleaning electronics and it turns out there is a glob of dust that's just stuck there, and vacuum and air compressors doesn't work, how do you clean it then?
