Just needed a little help here with my problem here. Today, I went to use my Internet on my desktop and it says I have limited or connectivity, and I'm unable to do anything related with the Internet. Now, I know my internet is workin because I can connect to the wireless on my iPod, ps3, and laptops. But I just can't get my desktop to connect, I've tried unplugging the router a couple times, but nothing has happened so far. Could somone help me out here?

It could be a bad Network Card. Go to START>RUN>type CMD>in the black box type IPCONFIG /RELEASE and hit ENTER>then type IPCONFIG /RENEW and hit ENTER. See if you get an IP Address back. < Directions are for XP and not Vista =}

Alright, tried that but it says it's obtained an IP adress that is already in use on the network.

do you have all of those things hooked up right now on wireless? You may have to allow more connections for devices on your router.

shut off your router, cable modem / dsl , and desktop

follow these steps in order ...firs turn them off and then on in order.
1.power off your cable modem / dsl ( give it 1 minute until CABLE light is solid )
2.power off your router
3.power off your computer.
