Ghetto Fan Filters

So my friend gave me some extra 120mm fan filters to use. They were too big so I took the filters out of the plastic grill and just put them around my two fans, and used some rubber bands to hold them in place. Probably the most 'ghetto' part about my computer.

Yup, those are "ghetto" fan filters alright. You could have used bailing wire to hold them on.

i should probably do something like that for my middle areocool fan on my case, since my dust filter wolnt fit over the hubcap and i dont want to take the cap off lol

they still trap the dust, i will fix now
edit: also because i did not want to put screw holes in the filter itself

Women's pantyhose also works well as a fan filter. I had a nice aluminum reusable fan filter that I put on my old rig, worked really well.
