Official Overclocking Score Board

Performance lol.

Im considering the hexcore Intel for the next biuld, or octocore AMD if that ever happens.

I'm with this.

I'm nearly stable @ 4.3Ghz...

Well I thought so anyways.

I'm at 4.220Ghz stable. I'd make this official and update my results but it's only 20Mhz higher...

BCLK of 212 or higher just won't Prime.

EDIT:

A few things...

CPUZ reports a lower vcore - idle & load - than the setting in the BIOS. So i'm thinking I need to increase the vcore in the BIOS till CPUZ reports 1.35V? Watch the temps!

Also i've read that it's much better to enable the turbo function in the BIOS.

So back to the drawing board...

You may have an exceptionally large vdroop. I know my board has pretty good control of that. It's normally less than 8 100ths.

Guys and girls...

Stable at 4.305Ghz.

This is worth submitting...

:)

Sig updated. I'll go fo a BCLK of 206Mhz tomorrow...

:D

EDIT: Neodude112320. You need to clear some of your messages so I can submit this...

Remeniz - 4.305 Ghz [2.660Ghz + 1.645Ghz] (Core i7 920 D0 @ 1.325V ~ Lapped TRUE & 120mm Sharkoon 2000 Pushing ~ GA-EX58-UD5 (BIOS F9) ~ 3GB Corsair Dominator XMS PC3-12800 @ 1640Mhz 8-8-8-24-2T @ 1.64V)

You may have an exceptionally large vdroop. I know my board has pretty good control of that. It's normally less than 8 100ths.

Vdroop under load is only 1.325-1.280=0.045=45mV.

4.368Ghz. More than 1.7Ghz over stock speed!

I reckon this would've been good for 24 hours. Tried for 4.410Ghz but got the MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION BSOD. Probably the memory.

Remeniz - 4.368 Ghz [2.660Ghz + 1.708Ghz] (Core i7 920 D0 @ 1.325V ~ Lapped TRUE & 120mm Sharkoon 2000 Pushing ~ GA-EX58-UD5 (BIOS F9) ~ 3GB Corsair Dominator XMS PC3-12800 @ 1664Mhz 8-8-8-24-2T @ 1.64V)

Vdroop under load is only 1.325-1.280=0.045=45mV.

Gotta follow the rules that are set in the OP. Though I think we should add a CPU-Z validation link to the rules.
