Download and install rivatuner in the meantime, and coretemp, everest, or the likes if you don't have it already.

It is kind of like the stock one, but it is a tad bit better. I think it is some cheap coolermaster. I will find a link to it or something similar. Here I think I bought this when I was building this because I some how broke the stock one haha.

Well, what is the max temp it gets to in prime95? I imagine that wouldn't help a ton.

Yep. What isn't running right? prime95? Try LinX.
