Random Chit Chat

Why not post in the style that WorshipMe did with his Computer building guide. Post three or four different complete setups. Low-er end, medium, high performance, and ultra-enthusiast.

Good idea.

It might be a little bit harder though, because people want to cool different things.

I'll put a few loops together and go at it tonight, then leave an add-ons section.

Ok, so

"Suggested CPU only block"
-CPU (not too loose or tight flowstyle)
-Pump
-Res (2x120)
-etc

"CPU+GPU"
and post popular GPU cooling blocks

you get the gist. Just post blocks for popular items.
775/1366/1156/AM2\+\3
5870, GTX2xx, 5970, etc
Chipsets are hard to call "popular" because even each board has different chipset mounting holes. For this, I can suggest the CHC-125, or CHC 122 from Koolance. Or products with a similar mounting style.

Kind of holding them back, isn't it?

Besides, Intel changes their socket so they can make money. It's like gaming consoles. They change them often so when you want to play the latest games, you have to buy the latest console, too.

Not really because for the budget concious being able to use the Am2 board you purchased 2 years ago with the newer cpu's a great! So 1+ to amd for being penny wise!

The new 8800GT is loud when it's fan is maxed out.
Anyways, how much would it cost to get decent watercool for my system?
