True, but the 5xxx cards are near 100% scaling in dual crossfire. It was over 90% in every game that supports crossfire from all the reviews I read, which is amazing, especially when you consider that 8800 sli only scales 30%.

yep, I just need a better way to hold that fan on there. Its currently held in place by hot glue, gravity, and the way I kinked the wire (not a joke)

I couldn't get solder to stick to the cooler for the life of me. I was just gonna solder some little craft wires on and use them to hold it in place.

Get a fan with a frame and use large zipties around the whole card?

I took the frame off so it could fit partially in the cooler. If I put one with a frame on, it would take four slots.

I remember I was so happy when I got my RMA for my 8800GTS. It didn't come with the dumb sticker w/ an asian girl holding a sword. Just the standard nvidia claw.

God I want a 5870.
