I don't know, but I don't think I'm going to fix it anyways. I want a new MP3, but it's not a top priority in my life, so I won't get new one yet. I can still everything, as long as there is a lot of light around me.

That is such an easy fix though...

Open it up and see if its the backlight itself or the inverter (prolly built into the main board in this case)
Read the voltage with a multimeter and see.

So I tried 6 games on my PS3 so far, and none of them uses 1080p. Kinda disappointing. I guess the PS3 can't upscale, then again, I doubt I will see any major improvements.

The only upscale I can find are for DVD movies. I thought if I unticked the 720p and 1080i on the settings menu, it will give me 1080p, but it gives me 480p instead.
