Dual PSU is really easy if you want to give it a try.

Just jump the green to black wires on the 20/24 pin ATX before starting the computer.

Use an old 250 W psu, I'm sure you have one, and the PCI-e molex cable that most cards come with.

you put passive heatsinks, or heatsinks with ultra low RPM fans on all your components, then replace all the other fans with bigger, low RPM ones.

If done right, it will be virtually silent.
 
That's an interesting idea. It doesn't necessarily have to be silent, just reasonable lol. Would it be okay if I just replaced the CPU heatsinks with normal ones fit for desktops (if they fit) and just leave the top of the enclosure off?

I'd also replace the 40mm fans with lower speed ones. The PSU fans aren't nearly as loud so I'd probably keep those the same.
