Hey all - I am new here so apologies if I haven't quite put this in the right place.
In my house we have one desktop computer and three laptop computers. We've had the same wireless router for around three years now and it's never gone wrong.
My router is currently connected to my desktop computer, however, the computer cannot access the internet, while the three laptops in the house have no trouble connecting via wireless.
I can't figure out why my desktop can't find any connections.
Just to add - the router hasn't always been connected to my desktop, I moved it up into my bedroom today and plugged it into the phone line up here. Could this affect anything?
Please note that I'm really not very good with computers, particularly when it involves networks and connections, so please keep the specialists terms to a minimum!
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
