Upgrading my Tower

I'd like to stick with AMD and I know nothing about the new systems. I'm still running a old XP Athlon 2800 and AGP card.
I have a Landboy midsize tower and Watercooling system, Dell Ultrasharp 24" monitor. 3 Raptor HD's I would like to keep using.
So I need a MB, CPU, Ram, Power Supply & Vid. Card, I think I can use everything else except all my old software.
I only do Photography work and play a few Seek & Find Games. I have a $1000.00 I can spend if need be.

What level photography work do you do?

Do you forsee yourself playing newer games once you have a new rig built?

I started doing Video work with my new DSLR and I do alot of post processing like HDR stuff, I use Photoshop Elements 8 right now but I'd like to upgrade to CS4 too.
I will never play any heavy games that take alot of processor power, My MB is one of the last XP Athlon boards that was any good and it can't be replaced so If It goes I'm without a system.
