5870 = total waste of money. When overclocked to the same levels, the 5850 will perform within 5% of it.

OP: 770 chipset is terrible. Get a 790X.

Crap, that's right. I just read a review that said 2 5770's would run about the same as a 5870, that's why I said that. I agree with footy, just get a 5850 and overclock it, save $100

My God, he only has a 4x bus in CrossfireX? I read the "Multiple Video Card Settings: Xtreme Performance in SLI/CrossFireX Gaming " and assumed it had 2 PCI-2 x16 slots....

770 chipset = x16/x4 crossfire, and IIRC, it disables your x1 slots to do that.
