Need help picking out a vcard

By covert I mean one a virus scan can't pick up. Extremely nestled.

We could help you fix the monitor, or you can probably go to your local school and pick up a free CRT. People just give those away, now.

you can also get a CRT from craigslist, thrift store, garage sale.

I actually prefer the picture of a good CRT over an LCD, as long as it has a refresh rate at least 85Hz so I can't see the flicker. Most people never see it though.

I've replied to an ad for a free crt on kijiji. But how do I reset my monitor? All I know of is my power button.

If it helps, I tried the monitor on another pc in another room and it still doesn't work.

I would get to taking it apart if you feel up to it

But first make sure it isn't under any type of warranty.

I think it's too old for warranty, I've had it for 2-3 years. I guess I could take it apart, after all I was just going to buy a new one anyway so what have I got to lose?

It's an LG Flatron L196WTQ

I don't have the receipt or anything... and the model number isn't coming up with anything on their website in their search.
