1st post!

Anyway, I have an Asus P3B-F and a Coppermine Intel Pentium III (slot-1) that is 600MHz as 133FSB. Locked multiplier :(

Well, I cranked 'dat FSB up to 150MHz, and managed to get the PIII up to 800MHz stably and in Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux. I've been using it like this for a few months now, and it runs at 130F. Stock cooler.

I do what I can on a zero-dollar budget. :)

Pretty good, especially since I got the machine for free!

Yes, I have run Windows 7 on it. Yes, i used aero. Yes, it was usable. No, I did not keep it around long.

Nah, no Crysis. Runs Need For Speed: Underground 2, Quake III Arena, MSFS9, and MSTS at decent speeds.

What should I use for benchmarking it under ubuntu?

^ yes it would be but what does it matter? The platform still costs $100 minimum and is horribly crippled for anything but basic use. For the same price, you could get an Athlon x2 and a cheap mobo which would cream it.

And it was free. Hard to beat free.
