Question to boggle the mind

Absolute zero just means no particles are moving, zero energy. So a vacuum could be absolute zero.
 
If we reach absolute zero, or otherwise known as 0 kelvins then everything would be frozen and atoms would stop moving. If something were absolute zero you could rearrange the structure of it.
 
Vacuum means lack of pressure. Not lack of matter.
If lack of an atmosphere equated to absolute zero then vacuum tube type picture tubes would be too cold to handle. FYI > They are pumped down to -1 earth atmosphere. The glass would never heat up from the thermal conductivity off of the heater element other wise known at the electron gun. The super cold of the vacuum would keep sucking heat off the glass thus reducing its temp to an un-usable state.

The atoms in the matter would have to completely stop moving.

If the electrons stop moving the atom

But in space temperatures can reach very cold but not absolute zero due to emanating energy from stars and left over energy from the creation of the universe. Unless you travel outside the universe...in which it is empty space.

As for your vacuum idea, its is not "absolute zero". Temperature is a property of matter. Without matter you cannot have temperature.

But take for instance that you could survive in space. You flew into space and was floating around. The instant you come in contact with the suns ray you would burn.

Though you exist in a vacuum of space you must remember that light particles can travel through a vacuum. THe instant the light reaches your skin it will begin exciting particles on your skin and you would feel hotter.

No, a vacuum is absence of matter, which in turn causes lack of pressure.
 
I say it would be absolute zero.

Vacuums are epic. I put a vacuum pump on a grape and it exploded. It also was able to make a balloon with virtually no air in it become the size of a wine bottle.

Allendale: Isn't it impossible to exist outside of the universe, because if you could somehow accomplish this, then you are still matter, and thus part of the universe?

Either way, the universe itself is expanding faster than the speed of light, so you would never be able to get there no matter what.
