Usually, you run multiple instances of the client that have been installed to different directories. It's a fairly interesting, yet somewhat complicated, install process.

How much power from the rest of the system is required for GPU folding?

Say, I wanted to run four 8800 GTS's (i don't, this is just theoretical), would a single core sempron 140 be enough with 1GB DDR3? or would I need more RAM, or the second core enabled?

for my GPU folding, my CPU usage goes upto about 40-60%

Is it folding on the CPU as well, or just the GPU?

Looks like I will have to try to unlock that core.

i dont know, my GPU is maxed activity when its running, but 2 of my 4 cores are at like 60% used. may just be me though.

It'll run on just about anything...

Not the slowest cpu ever I know, but if his rig will run on that, your sempron should be ok.

Well, I plan to eventually get four better folding cards, but for now, say four 8800 GTSs because I don't forsee myself having any more than that.

EDIT: How do I make the F@H client stay in terminal? I want to watch the progress.
