Is the 9800gso any good? I am looking for something in a single slot card that can get much better performance than what I have that will run on a 400w psu. My card was good back when I had a 17 inch monitor but as soon as I unexpectedly got a 22 inch monitor that's when things started running sort of crappy.

Right now its just sort of an idea but not a sure thing getting a new gfx card since I haven't really done much gaming in the past few months other than battlefield heroes which runs just fine on all my computers as is.

You can get a 9800GT power efficiency card really cheap, and its pretty good, for a single slot card. Just don't expect it to OC a lot.

I found it for $77 last night for sniperviper in the pci thread. I'll go look there.

I haven't gotten a chance to try it because I am without a PSU atm, but I am gonna pop it in my brother's computer tomorrow and give it a go.

Looks awesome though. That cooler is epic. I think I am definitely gonna be modding that thing to cool the VRAM before too long.

Considering an 8800GTS for $50 since my 9500 got cancelled. Thoughts? I need to start collecting folding cards.
