amd phenom II VS Intel Core i7

All motherboards sporting the Intel X58 northbridge give you the option to Crossfire or SLI multiple graphics cards.

But the LGA1366 motherboards don't have memory controllers - the memory controller is built into the Nahalem CPU's.

AMD's has the cheaper pricing, but the Core i7 is becoming a little more affordable and is worth every penny on that CPU.

The motherboards are more expensive, due to their designs and technologies in them. The memory controller is on the CPU.

The 920 is $288.

LGA1366 motherboards cost considerably more because the RAM controller is built into the motherboard.

A decent one will run you $250.

Microcenter has them for $199. I have one of their flyers right in front of me :p

I find that they usually have better prices on processors, from my experience...
