No. C2D is the max. You need a new mobo.

That PSU is garbage too. Don't trust your computer to it.

Thats an AMD board. You need an LGA775 with support for Core 2 Quad.

I don't know much n these so I can't recommend one but I can say that ASUS makes the best.

Gigabyte also makes some pretty good motherboards as far as quality and price.

ASUS and Gigabyte are my two most preferred, unless I get a really good deal on another decent brand board...like an MSI X48C Platinum and 500GB hdd for $70...

MSI OCs better than ASUS, but ASUS is typically more reliable.

Gigabyte seems to be pretty good but i have never personally used one.
