The standard right now is ATX form factor. ATX motherboards have 7 expansion slots. There's also micro ATX, which has 4 expansion slots. (it's longer)

A micro-ATX motherboard will fit an ATX case, but for obvious reasons an ATX motherboard will not fit in a Micro-ATX case.

Pretty much any good case you get will be ATX....

It'll be about the same in gaming, but slower in video encoding. (although, if you're using Adobe software to do the video, the 5850 can handle the workload anyway)

or this is a good combo deal on a case and psu which would be cheaper than the two parts you had listed...

Same chassis as the M59 and Lexa S, but with a different side panel and faceplate.

It only has one fan, but it should be ok if you're not overclocking or anything. It has great passive cooling.

The 902 ans Storm Scout are better, no doubt, but only because they have more fans. This one supports 6 fans, so if you really need more it's possible to add them.

I like the look of the Antec 900 as I have built 2 PC's using it, but the inclusion of air filters in the 902 is a nice feature

So why would I need more fans? Sorry this is all education to me. I would be inclined to go with what 'Mutant Corn' has detailed, could this setup be upgraded easily. What I mean is would the Motherboard support higher end CPU's etc?

Right so brought "Building A PC For Dummies", and it seems like it isn't totally beyond the realms of possibility for me, so gonna give this a go in a couple of months when I get some cash together. And getting more help off you guys. So sticking to the detailed list of hardware would this give me the best for games and rendering, compressing videos etc?
