I originally had two 512MB ram cards.

The maximum capacity for the desktop is 2GB, so I bought two 1GB DDR1 PC-3200 ram cards and replaced both of the 512MB with both 1GB.

However, when I boot the computer, it doesn't boot. It beeps.

Is there anything I can do?

I tried removing one stick and leaving the other.

It only read the single 512MB card.

I had both 512MB.

I took them both out and replaced them with 1GB;
My computer started beeping.

I removed one of the 1GB and placed a 512MB back.

The computer only said I had 512MB when I booted it.
It should have said 1.5GB.

The RAM is PC-3200 DDR SDRAM; as is the motherboard.
The motherboard is a DDR Motherboard (I'm not sure what you're asking exactly, or where I can find it).

As far as the original RAM goes, here's all of the information I know:

MT16VDDT6464AG-40BC4 PC3200U-30331-B1
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN MALAYSIA
M014JPN 200338 590-502857
512MB DDR 400 CL3

And as far as the second one goes:

1GB PC-3200 SAMSUNG 543
