XP Mode in Windows 7?

Hello Remeniz,

Just an FYI, Windows XP Mode requires an additional 1 GB of RAM, an additional 15 GB of available hard disk space, and a processor capable of hardware virtualization with Intel VT or AMD-V turned on. You will also need to download Virtual PC.

Both items can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx

Additionally, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum specifically for IT Pros located here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro/ . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads available there for additional assistance and feedback.

I think that there is no problem in running 32-bit applications on Win7 64 bit, even in XP Mode...

^ There are a few that seem to be incredibly stubborn and don't want to work apparently.

Can it do windows versions below XP?

Or DOS? That'd be epic. Duke Nukem on my computer...
The fps would be over 9000!!!
lol.

There are some programs to run DOS Games on Win XP. This one i've already tried, and it works perfectly: DOS Box

I want it to run natively, not an emulator. I know about DOSbox lol.

I want my framerate to be over 9000. Its too bad Duke Nukem doesn't scale in crossfire.

has anyone got one of those new touch screen pcs?

I am in the process of a touchscreen tablet mod on my Eee PC. Touch panel should be here any day now.

I don't see the point in getting one for a desktop. Epic gimmick. Try using it for more than thirty minutes or so and you will see what I mean.

Have you already tried to run it on DosBOX? I've tried here, and it's very fast, you won't have problems with FPS. But i don't think you'll be able to run it native.
