No. IIRC you can install from the file directly (don't quote me on this, I can't remember for sure). Otherwise there's a USB install tool you can use. I didn't have to use the "tool" though. I just copied all the discs stuff to my flash drive (FAT32...dunno if anything else would work, as I didn't try) and then installed. This was actually for my Student Upgrade disc that I got. It was scratched so I had to use some of the files from another W7 disc and then merged them on the flash drive and installed from there. Worked like a charm, and might have actually been a little faster than the DVD drive. But it was on my lappy and my lappy's drive is kinda slow.
 
lol not for me. I would rather get 3 1TB HDDs for cheaper.

EDIT: The review section is pretty dead. Does anybody mind if I post some video card reviews? I can do HD 4850 1GB, HD 4850 x2 2GB, HD 5770, and HD 4870 x2.
