Need to get a video card :)

I am running a DellPoweredge 1900 model number : ECMO1

Need to upgrade video card so i can play games. I have read about other people doing this with placing a 8x -> 16x pcie or just cutting back of 8x slot to let the card fit in. Just looking for good deals on mobo powered video cards that will run new game decently if not great. Thanks.

I am confused what you are trying to do. Does it not have an x16 slot?

EDIT: Why on earth do you want to put a video card in the server? Its a server. Not a gaming computer.

I think the DellPoweredge 1900 has this mobo inside...

Intel Workstation Board S5000XVN.

And it has a PCI Express x16 slot.

So pretty much any of the latest GPU's will work with it. Your going to need to ensure that the PSU will power the GPU you go for.

this is what im looking at. no 16x

WHY are you using a very expensive server for gaming?

It is not gonna run anything well anyway.
