Thoughts on the 9800 GT graphics card from NVIDIA. (Will it play crysis in full )

I don't think all wanted to max it out just to see it's glory. What I think is that since Crysis need some heavy-duty hardware to max out, as long as they can max out Crysis, they think they will be able to max out all other games.

There seems to be very little loss in detail between direct X 9 and 10

Thanks to Atomic Rooster that guide looks very helpful.

ur stuff's been blocked lol...

but who cares about AA and stuff, i mean really, if your playing at your monitors native resolution, that stuff should be off anyways.

And if the OP is looking for bragging rights to tell his buddies he can max Crysis, words for wisdom.... NOW days thats not hard, if you could do that say 4 years ago, that would be quite the statement back then, wouldnt it?

and Now days, if you really want to max out crysis, get yourself a 5970, they destroy that game.

but the 9800 would do fine at any rez smaller then a 22in screen.

my 4850 plays crysis at high settings on 1080p at around 25-30..

EDIT:

5970 test,
if your interested, only.

It's a great card. My friend has it...he was able to play Crysis max in full (but I forgot the resolution he was playing at)

AA always makes the image look much better, but it's less so if you are on a native res. But there is a drastic difference in quality from 0x to 2x AA in my opinion. AF has nothing to do with your native resolution, if that's what you are referring to as "and stuff". :p
